Scroll down to about post 8 or 9 in this thread.
Read about committed and uncommitted diseqc switches.
You can daisy chain 8x1 with a 4x1 switch (or vice-versa) to access up to 32 LNBs.
Just have to make sure your receiver will do the job.

But as to whether that's four 8x1's and a single 4x1...
... or eight 4x1's and a single 8x1, I don't know.
That would be well beyond the simple switching that satisfies most of us. ;)

Thank you for that post, I think I got it figured out. I am going to get the concept of multiple LNBs down on my current 4X1 then move to a 8X1.

On my Hispasat antenna, i'm going to try to capture NSS 806 and NSS 7, both C Band I know, but I want to see what happens. I'm mainly interested on the Bolivian mux on NSS 7 and the Colombian channels on NSS 806.

Considering 30degrees W is the dead center I could stretch it to 22W and 40.5W on either side. I would love to get Intelsat 14 at 45W as well but that might be a bit much if I keep 30 W in the middle. Maybe if I move it a little to the side I could hit 22, 30, 40.5 and 45. I think 10 degrees to either side of the center is a workable compromise.

I'm still trying to figure out if there's anything worthwhile or capturable.

Also I'm getting offered a 10 foot dish for $100, as well as a 6 foo and 4.5 foot together for $100 as well. Too tempting.
