Hi
This is a great forum. After years of using a very unstable plywood mounted
satellite I have finally decided to upgrade after Ivan blew my dish over.
I plumbed and leveled a pole , got a new lnb and winguard 76cm dish and a s2100 motor from Mr . Taylor. They were great I ordered Monday morning and had my order Tuesday at noon.
My main satellite to view is AMC 4 where I am a TANTV subscriber so my wife can watch Korean TV. My reciever is a Humax va 3210 .
It seems to have a setting for motorized use though I have not tried that yet.
My Latititude is 34' at zip 35758 Madison, Al I checked the elevation for AMC 4 and a little over 47' is recommended.
Now for the tricky part - 1. do I set the elvevation on the motor at 47 or as the book says by lattitude? And if I do set the motor at 47 which part of the chart do I go by to set the declination on the dish?
2. I any one familiar with the reciever I have to know how it should interphase with the motor? The manual that came with it says nothing about it.
Thanks in advance
