I'm looking into getting involved in the FTA hobby. I love playing with sat's and messing around with them. I think it's time for the next level. My question is about the dish rotator you can use. I assume it's electric so how is it powered? can it run power down the coax? just figuring out what I need to do on my roof.
The bigger dish are best installed as low as possible, especially when motorized. But if there is no other place to install it, the roof will work. (IMO)
The motor gets its power from the receiver from a single coax cable!
