Moved My 211 Receiver to bedroom and no power?

I just got an HD TV for the bedroom and took the receiver from the living room ( current Hitachi TV has lost convergence) and hooked it up with my new TV and the receiver doesn't power up? I've tried different sockets and nothing. The TV and my off-air antenna have power but not the satellite box?

is this coincidence that it all of sudden won't power on?

Are you sure that power outlet is not switched? Just for grins, take the 211 back to the original outlet and see if it will power up there. You don't need to hook anything up, just plug it in and turn it on to see if the power light goes on.
