Moving and Dishpointing 101

Probably been said over and over but if you are moving to a new home or RV'ing and you love your DirecTV, always do a site survey. The app Dishpointer is indispensable for that. When I moved in 2015, I used it at every house we looked at to make sure I had a shot at the birds. If It didn't, that house, no matter how nice, was crossed off the list. Same with my rolling outhouse. I always use Dishpointer before picking a spot. No way I'm dragging a Slimline around with me and not being able to use it. Dishpointer also has a desktop app that you can even almost do it on line. I say almost as obstructions may not be properly accounted for. Like the fact trees do grow.

Downside is it's 20 bucks but I don't leave home with out it. Even fun to pull out at parties and show people they really can get DirecTV. Obviously great for tail-gating too.

I lost it when I changed from one phone to another .... when I originally purchased it, I did it online and not from the Google Store (play store) , had I used Google originally I would still have it, but online it doesn't transfer ... I would have to purchase it again and so far I haven't gotten to point of wanting to spend that much money on it again.

While I agree ...
I do think $20 is way too much for this seeing there are others that do very good as well and are Free or much cheaper.

If this was $5 or even $10 I would get it again, but you shouldn't have to pay for it more than once.

As much as I move around I just count on my pocket compass and luck.
