Moving, can Hopper DVR recordings be viewed while Dish not connected?

I have done this with the 722k. I would assume it would work on the Hopper. Why not give it a try.

I'm not sure if it will work or if it may only work for a little while as there are many conflicting references. You won't know unless you try, if it does work, you should hopefully be good for a couple of days.

When I redid the wiring through the house, I had the satellite feed disconnected from the node and my wife was able to watch recorded shows.

I was able to watch DVR events for an entire week after we moved without the dish being installed yet.
