moving directv hddvr

Just had DirecTV installed. There are two lines into the HD DVR box. In the rest of my home there is/are only one line. can i move the HDDVr box to other rooms and will it work? Have not tried it yet

It will work but only one tuner will be available in the locations where there is just a single line.

Meaning you will lose the ability to watch one program while recording another (or record two at the same time).
