MS Activesync question on device poling

I not a big user of mobile devices which use activesync and have run into some issues in my testing with some devices at work.

Does anyone know how to change the device polling time or frequency in activesync. It seems that the software can take up to 1 minute to recognize a new device and up to a minute after it is undocked to recognize and release so another device can be docked and sync'd.

Part of your problem is that you are hitting your PDAs / devices with poles instead of taking a poll (ie polling) them at a specified interval.

Ok, now seriously; with a PDA connected look under the Schedule option.

laff, ah, the good old typo! Although the way activsync behaves sometimes, I want to hit with a pole.
