We haven't had it that long on Dish (or DirecTV). I've had it since spring of 2007 on cable.
As far as an actual MTV HD in the US, it isn't on the air yet (unless it just lit up like this fella suggested). DirecTV has announced it for this winter, along with VH1 HD, and, *gasp*, yuck, CMT.
Sounds like he woke up with a hangover and thought MTV HD began broadcasting. I wish that was all it took to get new channels.
i been enjoying mhd since it became avail. even though its a lot of reruns, at least they re run concerts and videos instead of reality shows and games that have nothing at all to do with music. personally, i dont care if mtv ever goes hd, but hey, thats my two cents. obvioulsy a lot of people do like regualr mtv, otherwise it wouldnt be on the air i guess.
