My antenna's stock.

And what is the best LNB holder for an offset satellite dish? IMHO it is something like on the pictures below. And it is best for different reasons:
- made of INOX, so, will never rust;
- allows to position LNBF properly, adjusting it mm by mm and on the fractions of degree;
- not expensive;
- looks nice (OK, IMHO again :) );
- instead of standard 40mm clamp 60mm one could be installed and then you get holder for C-band LNBF.

And to make multifeed out of separate LNB-holders, horizontal threaded bar can be used and then whole construction ready to be installed. Of course, each LNB should be regulated individually. IMG_20151023_193713 (Custom).jpg IMG_20151023_193727 (Custom).jpg

Friend of mine has presented this Tiny to me yesterday IMG_20151024_225345 (Custom).jpg IMG_20151024_225407 (Custom).jpg . It is only 556 x 604mm and has 23* offset angle and 75* opening angle. He's said that this dish has something to do with Channel Master/Raven as it has exactly the same surface and made of same plastic. It got small damage from the back, but it can not affect reception IMG_20151025_115703 (Custom).jpg . Question: What was the reason for me to attach metal ruler like this ;) ? a33 You are right. Measuring the mirror with the maximum precision is prerequisite to finding out it's main parameters like offset angle, opening angle, focal distance, LNB's aiming point

In final stage before installing. Just made a back plate and some kind of Az/El mount. Need some paint to apply it to pipe (it is not INOX as all other parts of mount). I am not expecting from this 55cm dish to be working as bigger sized dish, this is all about fun. I was on one roof today, for more than 3 hours. Roof is not mine and, consequently, antenna is also not mine. I wish it was mine though. It is Polish Laminas 2,7m plastic antenna. Nice dish, but still need some adjustments to be done. IMG_20151102_145724 (Custom).jpg IMG_20151102_152559 (Custom).jpg

T90 has slightly bigger dimensions than 90cm, but, according to technical data and real life experience, it works more or less as 90cm dish. This is my first dish, I got it 11 years ago. Spent lots of time installing, reinstalling, tuning, modifying it. It was installed at 5 different locations. I am pretty happy with it. Very good dish.

I was halfway through the process of buying a T90, then had to wait awhile, and the dish became unavailable. So, I have all the LNB's, DiSEqC switches and Multiswitches, etc, but, no dish. :(

I suppose it's still possible, of course when I wanted to build one, all the Equity channels were still on 123W.

I keep an eye on local classifieds, and spotted Channel Master (Andrew, Raven) dish another day. That was not used (in the original box) and price was OK, so I even did not bargain, payed 65 EUR. And taking in account that I got several Channel Master brand new polar-mounts for the price of 35 EUR, than this set for the price of only 100 EUR seems quiet reasonable.

I've got this "dish" couple of days ago IMG_20161213_160133 (Custom).jpg . I call it Tiny, cuz it is only 13 25?32 inches. But it is new and well branded IMG_20161213_153938 (Custom).jpg , so I am pretty happy to have it. It came without any brackets and feedarm IMG_20161213_153727 (Custom).jpg , which I like as well as it gives me possibility to design something original. I almost finished with the Az/El easy adjustable mount and feedarm with LNB-bracket. I do not think I should try multifeeds here :clapping IMG_20161214_223825 (Custom).jpg IMG_20161214_223735 (Custom).jpg

I've found out that 35cm Channel Master dish is very rare, so rare that there are only several of them made (maybe only one) :). It was made as a sample dish. And as sample it even does not have reflective layer inside :eeek. Basically, it is not performing at all unless I cover its surface with aluminum foil. Funny, but I like it. Will sort out this issue in one or other way someday in the future.
Was trying to organize some dishes today. There are 8 Quad LNBs for fixed reception of 8 satellites (7 on old toroidal dish, 1 on 75cm Cassegrain type FUBA dish). Then there is 55cm motorized Gregorian type dish, and, finally, 35cm Channel Master (with no protective layer) on Az/El motorized mount. Will add couple of dishes soon.
