My antenna's stock.

Rima, what is the farthest west satellite you can get from your site? By the look of your toroidal maybe 30-40W?

General rule for satellite dishes is- bigger dish is always better. But Ku signals here, in Europe, from some satellites, are so powerful that 24h reception is possible on small dishes even 35cm.
My most-East satellite is 90*E and most-West satellite is 30*W. If I had less obstacles on the horizon I could get 96,5*E and 45*W.

Funny that 30W is my farthest east satellite I can pick up, 4*-5* off the eastern horizon here. Too bad we can't use any of it's TPs for ham radio! :)

Added couple of dishes to the site IMG_20161229_150514 (Custom).jpg IMG_20161229_145403 (Custom).jpg

Last day of year 2016 I've made revision of LNBs. Was not so easy task, as they were everywhere, but, I think, I still missed some. So, put them in one place (1,2m antenna), took a picture and counted "electronically". Will soon sell some of them locally . IMG_20161231_120109 (Custom).jpg

If you don't click on the pic it looks like you a full plate of pills. I thought Rima must be heavily medicated if you're on that much meds. Not making fun of you Rima it kind of look weird. That is a nice collection of lnb's you have their and a nice dish.

Even it is winter outside, means pretty cold, but managed to tune 1,2m antenna to the arc. Made couple of videos about that. ONE is from "widows balcony" where antenna is located, and ANOTHER one from "OPS-room" (garage).

By friend of mine I was presented this 40cm Cassagrain antenna. Of course, I do not need it for simple watching of TV.... just for the collection. Will clean it, make nice brackets, adjust flange LNB and will catch some signals later.... when it is not so cold. I've got package today from friend of mine. Guess what was in the package?! Yes, there was Channel Master 1m antenna. Of course I will clean and polar-mount it. Without measuring I can guess this antenna has 22,6* offset angle. Man, I like it!

Have spent about 3 hours cleaning the dish today. It looks much better now....I think. It's aperture surface is about 30% smaller than 1.2m antenna, but nice dish anyway. I just need to find the honorable place in the yard to install it. IMG_20170402_144712 (Large).jpg IMG_20170402_144727 (Large).jpg IMG_20170402_152608 (Large).jpg

That cleaned up really nice and looks good!

Yes, I have it installed. This is one of my favorite dishes. So, do not even try to ask whether I am willing to get rid of it. However, everything has it's price. ;)

It is almost a year from my last update in this thread. Of course, many changes had happened. Some dishes found new owners and some came to my property. Newcomers are:
- 180cm PFA from beginning of 90th (picture attached);
- 60cm Cassegrain travel dish. Such dishes installed on campers (picture attached);
- 90cm Channel Master;
- 1m Channel Master;
- 0.75m Channel Master (picture attached).

And maybe also other changes which I already forgot :bday

I have installed 6 Channel Master dishes, all in different sizes. Not all of them tuned to satellites, but that will happen soon..... I hope :)
Dishes are 0.35m-0.75m-0.9m-1m-1.2m-1.8m all made of glass and in perfect shape. All the feedarms and LNB-holders will be made of INOX. Of course, there will also be other antennas installed, not only Channel Master ones. :bounce
