I lost mine a week and a half ago. Called D* and they told me everyone was going to loose them if there locals are provided in HD by D*. I not happy about it at all. I always thought it was a neat perk. They told me that it is a staggered shut off.

DNS= Distant Network Signals, and O & O = owned and Operated ( network owns that station )

Whatever u guys do... Dont I mean Dont Call Directv and choose Ext 722 or 721...

It will send a automatic shut off signal to your box...

I still had it on one box but then called the ext 722 thought of trying to fix it but my HD DNS disappeared when it sent the kill signal....
