My temps dropped from 122f to 116f on my HR20-700 !!!!!!

Just plugged my laptops USB cooling fan into my HR20 and my temps dropped from 122f to 116f.

I placed the cooling fan on top of the HR20 and got the results as pictured.

This will prolong the life of my HR20 for sure.. hehe

I doubt it ....
They are running anywhere from 122 to 127, I doubt 6 degrees will make any difference. if it were a problem they would address it.

The big, noisy fan exhausting air from the top of my HR20 dropped the temp from 127 to 107.

I think that's worth doing. I'm getting tired of the noise, tho.

Thats why I got rid of my old Sony HD-100, the fan was noisy, and it bugged me.
