I can count on one hand how many of these guys even have a chance of being drafted. Most of them should stay in school.

You got that right. BJ Mullens from OSU is one prime example. He is VERY raw and not ready for the NBA at all. The sad part is, he's only going because his family is so bad off, he needs the money to support them now.

Who doesn't need the money right now? If he doesn't get drafted, his family isn't any better off than before, are they? These kids are surrounded by idiots that piss NBA dreams in their ears. The NBA really should change the entry age back a couple more years.

He'll get drafted. Just like Kosta Koufas was drafted. But he'll be a project. Little do they realize though is that if they could stay in school, let their bodies develop and learn the game a little better, they'd be better off in the long run.

:up Koufas completely sucked. A lot of these guys are getting bad advice. The NBA holds down rookie pay so you have to show what you can do for 3 years before you can really cash in. Most of the dumbasses who enter too early just ride the pine for 3 years and then they get released and go play in Lithuania or the D League.

Baseball does it right. You can enter the draft out of high school, but if you go to college you have to stay 3 years before you can enter the draft again. That's what the NBA needs. Let the Kobe's and LeBron's go straight to the league. Everyone else should stay 3 years in college.

Yep. Baseball and the NBA has it down right. The NFL on the other hand is ass-backwards when it comes to rookie/un-proven pay.

You forget about Mr. Griffin?

Hasheem Thabeet has to me, MORE potential than Griffin. When this kids gains some weight and more upper body strength, he WILL be the best center in the NBA...hands down. Griffin to me looks like a good power forward, Hasheem....looks like a future star center.

I'm not sold on either of them. Both were great in college, in fact Griffin was outstanding, but he will be a midget in the NBA. Neither of them have an outside shot and in today's NBA unless your name is Shaq if you can't hit from 20 feet blindfolded you're not going to be great. Thabeet at least is 7' 3" so he could be a Mutumbo like player. I just don't see where Griffin fits, but maybe some team will use him like the Celtics do Big Baby.

There's a guy in Orlando that would beg to differ with that opinion.

LMAO! This Rook is gonna step in and just take the NBA by storm, eh?

Superman, aka Dwight Howard would snap him in half!
