NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

#10 South Florida just took the lead over Pitt, 21-20 with about 6 minutes left.

What is it about these Thursday night upsets/near upsets?

I WANT to considee Pittsburgh a good team this year, but they keep shooting themselves in the foot.

If they win, then good for them- maybe it will turn them around.

If not, I think Mr. Wannstache could be in for a rough ride.

If they fail to make a bowl game, ANY bowl game, he could be fired.

Wannstedt saves his job with an upset.

That's the only reason he still has his job- if Pitt hadn't beat WVU last December, he'd be gone by now.

Now, UConn is back in the driver's seat to represent the conference in a BCS game.

This season is barely a month old and we've already had enough upsets to last all season!

Oregon St. up on 15th ranked Utah, 21-20 in Utah with about 10 minutes left in the third.

Can the Beavers pull off their second straight Thursday night upset?

Utah wins and the BYU/Utah dream matchup is still alive!!
Since undefeated Utah beat the team that beat USC, logically they should be ranked about USC.
But since when has logic ever had anything to do with the polls.

All this shows is that we should not have pre-season polls, and just start the polls in November, like the Harris Poll is done.
