I am very satisfied with the operation of both the motor and the dish by using the 3rd U-bolt. Personally, I just like this option better. It looks like a more professional job and since it has worked for several years through the worst of wind storms here, I am very happy with it. I'll just keep haunting the hardware stores for the "exact" dimension U-bolt. I thought I'd ask, just in case you did offer them.
