Need help setting up

hi everyone. I have a coolsat6000 I just bought
DirecTV 36" International Dish (87CM)
For International / Ethnic DirecTV Programming
Includes (1) .87m WorldDirect International Dish
Includes (1) Required LNB for 95 W - Linear Satellite
Includes (1) Required LNB for 101W - Oval Satellite
I'm using birdog, signal quality is 75%. When I go to the receiver to get 95oW I mess around with dish setting I could not get any signal. Anyone help me. I appreciate it. thanks

Hello. Maybe you haven't set up the receiver. First go to the antenna setup menu and define a setup for G25. The important thing is to define if it is a Standard or Universal LNB. You haven't mentioned the type in your post, so try both. Also be sure the LNB power is "on" in the menu. Then do a "blind scan" to find the available transponders.

I'm not familure with the Coolsat6000, but the basic setup is pretty standard.

what do you plan on picking up? What satellite are you aimed at?

I 'm trying to pick up sat 95oW. I hooked LNB directly to receiver. Do you have any ideas. thanks
