I would like to combine my basic cable with the sat tv output #2 going out to my second tv. What all do I need, right now all I have is a cable from the satellite reciever going out to the tv.

Thanks

You need a splitter, but in reverse.

This is how you should hook it up:
............................_____________
CABLE IN ------->|.......................|
...........................|....SPLITTER.....|----> Combined COAX (TO TV)
TV2 SAT OUT---->|____________|

Sorry for the bad diagram, but that is what it should look like.

Good Luck!

What cable channels are active on your system? The output of TV2 has to be set for a cable channel that your cable system dosen't have a signal on.

It's also a good idea to pick a channel that has empty adjacent channels. So if 105, 106, and 107 are available, pick 106.
