need help with coolsat 5000

very new to this someone told me to get a coolsat 5000 and eliptic 4 lnb dish so i did then they told me some else hooked it up so 400.00 later and count less hours a am lost do they have dish pointing for 3 year olds please help don't know were to point or what to point two please any help????

what were you expecting to pick up?

what satellites were you looking to aim at?

don't really know just want to get up and running any idea's

so you paid $400 for a reciever and dish and you dont know what satellites you want to aim for?

for legal FTA, you need a 30" or larger dish and a KU Band LNB. The dish they sold you won't do any good.
