I am new to setting this up and here is what I am doing.

I have hooked up the satellite and have a strong signal from 119. I then hooded up using the sr-21 switch, and ran a switch check. I have a 301 receiver, and when the switch check finishes, it say I have the 119 but not 110. What am I doing wrong

thanks

Well it depends on wether or not you have the dish skewed correctly, what lnbf and switch types your using, if the mount is plumb, if the gear is in proper working order.

The mount wich is either a pole you have the dish mounted to or an actual mount must be plumbed with a level. The dish has elevation and skew settings that must be set for your area or you will not get the correct sat feeds. The lnbf and switch types must be of the same type such as legacy to legacy and dishpro to dishpro, also there ae sub types of lnbfs that matter as well such as single, dual, twin, and quad lnbf and wether or not your using dishnetwork compatible lnbf's and switch's.

most likely you are off on your elevation by a few degrees and your heading by 9. sounds like you have regular lnbs so hook your receiver to the lnb in the slot labeled 119 tweakk your dish there making sure it is 119 you found then hook up your other lnb using your sw21 then check switch should be good to go
