I got a new system, got it all hooked up, got the dish on the pole, but don't know where to point it. My instructions were vague. My zip is 79762 and the dish is 32" dia. Any help would be appreciated but be advised I know absolutely nothing in this area. Thanks!

Thanks! That's a lot of info! I feel kinda stupid not knowing what to do with it. All I have done so far is mount the dish on the pole (level staight up and down) and hook all the cables to it. The little motor makes it go back and forth. I guess I just need to tilt it back, but to which degree mark? Thought I knew what azimuth and elevation were but I guess not in this application. No idea what skew means. I really am as dumb as I look.

We need to know what kind/brand of motor. It 'MAY' be good idea to lock on to your true south satellite before adding the motor............thats what I would do.

I got the universal package from gosatellite on the web (coolsat 4000 pro). I honestly don't know what motor it is. I'm not at the house right now. The dish is pretty much mounted to the motor and the motor is mounted to the pole, if that makes sense. Everything is pretty much level. If I need to dissassemble to make it work , I will .. but I won't like it.
