Need help with my DirecTV

Tuesday Dec 18, I woke up in the wee hours and noticed my HR21-100 was "ON". I thought I turned it OFF before going to bed, but I guess I didn't, so I turned it off and went back to sleep. Come morning, wife turns everything on, and TV shows message "Searching for Satellite (771)" alternating every 20-30 seconds with "Downloading Guide". No storms or wind overnight, dish mount solid, and no power outages. I thought there was a software download in process when I turned it off, and I am wondering if perhaps this messed up the HR21. I have a SlimLine 5-LNB SWM dish. My SWM power supply is putting out about 20.5VDC, with LNB not connected. My dish aim numbers are AZ=224?, EL=39?, and TILT=64?. My service has been trouble-free since I've had the DVR and SWM LNB/dish, about 3 years. I would very much appreciate any suggestions.

I went to the SETUP menu and I looked at the satellite/transponder numbers, listed below (Tuner 1). The Tuner 2 numbers are virtually identical to Tuner 1.

I would like to know if I should try tweeking the dish aiming, or

Your HD Sats, the 99 and 103 are looking OK, but your 101 Sat the one that handles the Core programming is NOT.

Yes you need attention at your dish, why you don't have a strong signal on the 101 is ODD seeing the 99 and 103 are coming thru pretty well.

The 101 has a bunch of 0's, while a few is normal, the number you have is not, but the rest are VERY good on the 101 ... very odd.

Possible bad connection or bad LNB I suppose....

Other will chime in here as well, see what they say, there are many actual installers here that would know better.

Do you have other receivers, if yes are they ok or showing similar issues?
