Ok I am looking for a solution. I have tried Nicecast but cant get the tagging to work.
What I am looking to do is playout via spotify and mix it together with my board for DJ ect. I have found a nifty program called SNIP wich takes the song and title information from spotify and saves it to a file. When the song changes the information in that file changes. I am looking for an audio streamer that works with my mac, or can be windows based, that will read title information from that file and will grab my audio from my computers input, ect. Basically I have an audio board that will do all the mixing, i just want the audio to go out of the board via PC's audio input and go off to the internet with title information.
What are my options? Installing shout cast seems really daunting. How are you all broadcasting out there and what works well for you?
