I have an HR22-100. I'm on my second box because of two reasons. One, I get weird transponder number readings. Sometimes high(good) in the 80's 90s then it will come up in the 60's low 70s....even at 101. My R22 upstairs works great all the time with excellent readouts on 101. The HR22 is also really sluggish a lot of the time. I even took my HR22 upstairs and plugged it in where the R22 was and took the R22 and hooked it up where the HR22 was and I still got excellent readouts on the R22 and flaky readouts on the HR22. I tried different BBCs and that didn't help. A tech said my dish is aligned good. Do you guys think the HR22 is just bad? I'm having a tech bring out a HR23 and then seeing how things fare and if still wacky, replace the LNB...for the LNB I have four lines running straight from the LNB, two to upstairs and two to downstairs. What do you guys think?

More importantly, how is the picture? Experience dropouts on the HR22 that you do not get with the R22? If so, then there is a box or BBC issue. If not, attribute it to a difference in signal meters in the boxes and fagetaboutit. I have about a 10% lower signal with my HR22 than my HR20's or R15
