need options and ideas for budget

im recently on the verge to buy a new c ku band system

my list is the following

traxis dvb3500 not hd
6foot dish polar mount ws international
1000ft cable rg 6 sinlge line <----------have
c ku lnb dmx741u not for hd or is it
actuator tp-24
vbox-x
crimps, crimper tools <,-----------have
grounding is not my thing so i don't know how to properly ground a
satellite apart from house

i know little if there are many hd channels out there for spanish and english
thats why i am choosing the traxis 3500

plus i want to know if there is a hd box from american made not european and not firmware applied like the openbox s9?

i know the vbox-x isn't as best as the gbox v3000
because of budget im chossing that and will i need a different actuator the gbox 3000 right?


well that what im looking for and what im needing to learn















then again if hd is the way to go i'll look for a receiver in hd american made
what receiver is out there

the lnb will then be important to get the right one

other than that im good

I wish this wasnt true but i dont think there is such a thing as a satellite receiver made in USA any more.

I reccomend you get a Standard DMX741 LNB not the Universal DMX741u. Better suited for the States. I bought mine for less than $25. You can get the actuator with the dish at WSI cheap $35. HD is not a problem so much. Look for a reciever with DVBS2 as a lot of signals are going that way.

I'd recommend the openbox over a traxis 3500. There is alot of hd and dvb-s2 up there. You'll also need power wire for the actuator

To get alot of the S2. Isn't he going to need a bigger dish. Like an 8 footer, instead of the 6'?

nah the 6 footer seems to work pretty well for most DVB-S2
