need setup help - 2 receivers on same tv

New to DTV. I have an HR20-100 and HR21 both connected to the same TV. I want each box controlled by a separate remote independently of each other and have been having trouble trying to figure out how to set that up. Anyone know how to do this (or point me to the right resource)? Thanks!
