need some advice

hi all i got a toshiba a30 hd dvd i know they dont make any more hd dvd movies now but my question i going to buy a hd dvd burner is there any good 1s to buy and what kind plus where can i dl movies from and what proggy will i need to burn them with thanks for the help i put this in another spot i hope this is the right place now it will be for my desktop

Buying a burner may not be a good idea either. The currently available media is expensive, and quite possibly will all be discontinued.

I believe you can make double layer DVDs in HD codecs though.
