all over
I just upgraded to two DVR-R22-100 receivers. I have two lines from my dish, one to each receiver. My question is can I put a 2 way high frequency satellite splitter on each line so I can record on one input and watch tv on the second.

Thanks for your help.

The answer to that question is available using the search function. Try searching for splitters. You might also try a 3x4 multiswitch search.

The lines from the dish will not help. You have to use the outputs from the receiver / recorder or an output from your TV.

What kind of dish do you have? How old is it? Unless you have a SWM lnb or a SWM 8 multiswitch, you cannot split a DirecTV signal. You need two seperate lines from the lnb to each receiver.

I think you were answering a question from a different thread. Wildbill's reply is the correct one.

Hmmmm!

I did miss something,

The cx wants to split each of the two lines from the dish....one more to each receiver......missed the other part. .......TWO lines. ...... What he needs is to run two additional lines. He now has one line to each recorder. OR find a SWM rig. Still, just splitting the sat lines will not give him what he wants.

The 3x4 idea mentioned by Boba could work
