What exactly is a "Power Pass Split" in the 2rcvr example here? Is it just a simple coax splitter? My installer was trying to tell me that the "Power Pass Split" in this diagram was the diplexer.

I am no expert in splitters, but my guess is it is not a simple splitter, since it is supposed to pass voltage to the amplifier, but not to the second receiver...

And I really don't know if the diplexor can serve as the "Power Pass Split" (maybe it can), but I am pretty sure this is not the only option...

May be PSB can comment on this?

well i am up and running. Install took 5 1/2 hours. I had to go to a meeting and was about 15 mins late to it, so I just got home. I watched HDNews for about 2 mins and thats been it. I am on hold right now trying to get PlayboyHD ;-). So far the picture looks great.
