I would like to put my Dish 942 receiver in the basement and send the component video to my HDTV in my bedroom. The problem is I only have a single RG6 run from the basement to my bedroom. Is there a way to combine component video and stereo sound (Left and right channels) from the 942 through RG6 and then break it back out to component and L-R sound to the TV? I know it can be done with CAT-5 cable but I don't have that luxury.

Every solution i've seen requires a RG6 run for each component channel, which would require three runs for video alone. As for the carrying HD signals over Cat 5e, I've only seen it supported over dual cat 5 runs.

Try Rapid Run from Impact Acoustics. It's a single wire with a plug on either
end goes into a breakout cable that has left and right stereo and also the 3
component plugs. You can't use your rg6 , but at least it's only 1 wire to run
that is just a little thicker than the rg6. I use it and it works great. Impact
Acoustics has it on there website and gives you more info.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I may try the Rapid Run solution (thanks, cfunk!) if I can figure out how to run the cable from my upstairs bedroom to my basement.
