Can anyone that has their Distant net's provided by All-American tell me if the picture quality has improved. Two years ago it was bad - real bad. Wonder now if they have gotten their act together.

I've only gotten them recently, but they really aren't that great of quality--they're still watchable though. I sent them an email about the pq.

how can they? They are "leasing" one transponder from Dish (TP15) and have 8 channels on it. They would need at least 2 transponders to even have one set of HD along with the SD

And the appeal regarding the injunction and the broadcasters' complaints that this arrangement violates the injunction was heard about two weeks ago. If DISH and NPS can win this, then I figure it is likely the HD feeds will be next. If DISH and NPS lose it, then goodbye distants.

I got an e-mail from them today. I asked about HD and they said they should have them in HD by then end of the year. We shall wait and see!

They told me that last year. I'm not looking for it anytime soon; the PQ is so terrible I finally dropped them and moved

Watching them on the 36" CRT in the bedroom they are fine, but in the living room on the 56" HDTV....UGH!
