New 811 problem

My 811 just started something new, it will not go to stretch when I go from a HD channel to a SD channel. Whenever I would switch from a HD channel that I was watching with the display set to NORMAL when I switched to a SD channel the mode would automatically switch to stretch, but now stays on NORMAL. It also happens an OTA stations.

What "TV mode" are you set to?

16x9. I tried to set it to 4x3 and then back to 16x9. There was no change in either mode. This is the first time this has happened. I even did a hard reset and still no change.

well there is a 4x3 #1 and 4x3 #2

if your tv is a 4x3 model, set the 811 to 4x3 #2 @ 480p and try that. you should regain control.

My TV is a 16x9 and everything was working ok until this afternoon.

I got it fixed. I changed the output to 480P and then back to 1080i and now it is working right again.
