What new channels are you adding to my lineup?

Tune to Channel 108 to hear TODAY Show Radio, which launched on June 25th. For the first time ever, you can listen to the TODAY Show live with rebroadcasts throughout the day. TODAY Show Radio is available on Channel 108 in the Entertainment Category on satellite radios.

Venus, a new channel featuring upbeat Pop/R&B from the 2000’s thru today, will be available on Channel 3 on satellite radios, Internet radio, and on compatible mobile devices with the SiriusXM app.

Utopia (Channel 55) and Y2Kountry (Channel 57) are being added to the satellite radio lineup. Listeners with SiriusXM Internet radio and compatible mobile devices with the SiriusXM app have already been enjoying these channels.

‘40s on 4 has returned to the lineup as of June 26th and is available on Channel 4 on satellite radios, Internet radio, and on compatible mobile devices with the SiriusXM app.


BUT BAD NEWS for classical fans:

20 on 20 (Channel 3) will no longer be available, but we’ll continue breaking new songs and artists on SiriusXM Hits 1 (Channel 2), Alt Nation (Channel 36), and BPM (Channel 51) and on many other channels.

We heard you. And now it's official! Utopia is moving to satellite radio channel 55 next Thursday July 17. Please spread the word...after all, you made this happen!

what do you guys think of this news will dish pick up these new channels such as y2kountry and utopia?

Here are the changes...

6003 - 20 on 20's will be removed
6056 - will move to 6059
6059 - will move to 6056

This will happen sometime on 7/17
 
Wow. So down to just one station for "classical music" and one for opera. With that one main station now having to spend at least half its time on Pops? People who want to hear "classical" do not want to hear pops for the most part.

So that's one station for essentially all instrumental music from the year 0 to the year 1940. Deep programming indeed.

Luckily we have a classical station here in Rochester, NY. You can always use the Pandora app on either Dish or any smart phone/tablet to create a classical station. Or get Tunein Radio and link to various classical stations. I've done all of the above.
