Are there really that many programs on TVLand that are truly in HD? I know it's great having every channel in HD but there are so many of them that still have terrible looking programming.

I think all of their original programming is in hd. I know when i went to my mothers(directv) Hot in Cleveland, happily divorced , and the exes were in hd, if i remember correctly.

New shows are. Most older ones, no.

I honestly can't tell much difference in the 3 stooges since IFC went HD.:D Get the Disney/Espnu suit settled, and perhaps full time HD rsn's.All the premiums should be HD.Other than that,I see no need for any new channels.Just make some of the ones they already offer HD.

MHzworldview would be great. Their international mystery series are very good. This channel is available online, but would be better with a DVR. Directv has it in every package, I think.

Hot in Cleveland, Happily Divorced, & The Exes are three shows I watch regularly and would like to see them in Hd rather than the vasoline lens of SD. Wouldn't mind seeing some of the old reruns in clear upconverted hd ,even if they have black bars. I know when they showed Golden Girls on Hallmark channel in HD it was clear as a bell ,but had bars on the side of the screen for 4 x 3 tv picture.

The King of Queens and Everyone Loves Raymond are HD as well.
I read a few weeks back that Roseanne, The Cosby Show and The Golden Girls have been remastered in HD and are almost tv ready.

Really?? Last I Checked Dish is missing quite a few Cinemax, Starz/Encore, Showtime HD channels. Not to mention YES,SNY,MSG, MSG+ HD

"Quite a few" is an exaggeration. Plus those additional channels mostly just recycle the same content shown on the ones we already get.
