You hit the On Demand button or inupt channel 1. That takes you to the On Demand Menu which is organized by category. You select a single program to watch like you would a DVR recording. Most are free, some are not.

One channel, channel 1 to be exact. You select whatever you want to watch and it appears on your TV. Think of it like a giant DVR.
