I figured I would pass this along. I just got off the phone with Directv and here is the latest from them. I am in the Detroit area and called to order the swap. After about 10 tries I was able to get a CSR who not only knew exactly what I was talking about, but was able to and figure out why the other customer reps were having problems processing the order. Here is what she told me. First, the Mpeg4 rollout is up, running, and available in D-town, but she had no details as to how the channels were intergraded into the guide or any other specific questions. The deal for existing D* subs is the new five-lnb dish and up to five (yes, five) boxes will be swapped out with the H-20 free of charge with a two year commitment. However, as the CSR informed me the necessary ordering info is not in D*'s computers yet and the CSR will have to take your info and make the order by hand. I should be contacted within 72 hours to set up the install appointment. I'm crossing my fingers.
