New Directv Customer

I dont have a tv but was hoping to do a HDdvr to tv tuner to pc so I can view 3d content and record them(main reason I got directv). What tv tuner supports 3d content and do I need anything special other than a hdmi cable to conenct from dvr to pc.

FYI I have 3d vision pc, which I use to play pc games in 3d and watch 3d bluray movies.

I am not sure if it will work. John there says it will but a guy on nvidia's forums said it wont. So I am not sure.
