New DTV Retention Phone Number (May 2009)?

I recently called the DTV Retentions phone number (800-824-0739) & it has been disconnected.

Does anyone know if there is a new number?

He gave you a Dish Network number as a joke.

DirecTV doesn't have a direct line to retention anymore. Retention is only reachable if you are cancelling service, in which case they may or *may not* try to talk you out of it.
 
Retention and WinBack #'s

I was given this number by the DirecTv WinBack when I re-signed but I was unaware of the department I was speaking to until they corrected me. Try REMOVED. It is currently a direct line; no automated help.
WinBack is REMOVED.
