In the podcast Scott said that E* will have 45 national HD channels... E* has 39 listed on there web site (not including PPV)... So does this mean we are getting 6 new channels tommorow? :D

DISH said TBS HD is the exclusive high-def provider of the first round of the playoffs. The satcaster also said that with the addition of TBS HD the company now has 48 national HD channels - the most offered by any pay-TV provider in the country.

Interestingly, before the launch of TBS HD, EchoStar said DISH Network had 39 HD channels. Apparently the company is counting the eight HD pay-per-view movie channels it recently launched in DISH's total of national HDs.

I am baseing the channel count not including PPV. Also, I am going by what scott said in the podcast (45) and the count on Dish's website which is 39. So if you add TBS HD then the total would be 40. So if Scott said that the count of national HD channels would be 45 so we have 5 more to go. I did not include TBS in the first post.
