45 for "top 250" for me also at DISH Network -- Dish HD
Maybe I should do an online chat and ask where my additional channels are that I'm not currently receiving.

76 -> 100 channels is absolutely accurate. What they didn't tell you is that's in octal. 076 + 002 = 100 in octal. So that's two new channels.
There is an error in your math.
Octal 76 = 7*8 + 6 = Decimal 62. But Dish has now something close to Decimal 42. So why idea was good, the equation was wrong. Also I doubt somebody at Dish knows anything about octal system, they can't even count correctly in decimal system
They are also adding "Hillbillies-HD". I hear its going to have some very interesting reality shows including one about a group of moonshine producers. Another is a "Match-Game" type game show where the object is to find the most number of people who are related to each other.

I did an online chat and asked them why it says Top 250 contains 45 channels when I only receive 38, and why another page says that Dish Network offers "over 70 HD channels".
They said that the 70 channels includes all the RSN's and local stations that aren't available in my area.
The 45 channel list includes the channels you get with Top 250, plus all the RSN's, plus all the premium channels.
I replied back by saying that it said I only needed Top 250 to get all 45 channels, and they replied back saying I had to buy the multi-sport pack to get 45 channels.
Guess Dish's fuzzy math continues!

100 octal is 64. 64 - 62 is 2.

Wow, I hope not...not a single channel there interest me. USA and Spike, that's what I want....I have 2 months left on my contract.
