Hi - just had a new HR54/4K install done. Everything is great but can someone tell me how to program the RC73 remote volume button to my Marantz SR7005?

Just curious how is the C61k's performance? Is it slower than then the tuner based receivers?

I noticed no difference except on 4K channels, they took a little longer to load.

Menu>settings & help>settings>remote control>program remote>audio device>find receiver>change the setting for "change volume lock" to use audio device.

There is no audio device only tv?

Press menu, then go into settings and help on the screen, then on the left screen press remote control, then you will see the screen that says Program Remote, then press Audio devices, find your Audio receiver in the menu that will program the audio in your receiver and remote.

Not sure. It would be in that section of the menu (remote control). I have an hr44 but I assume the settings would be the same.

Must be the 54 is different- when the program remote comes up, it has program tv and done only - frustrating- but thanks for trying...

It will either say audio device or receiver, a list of all receivers will come up, find your and press it, it will program it automatically.

You must program a TV first before you are given the option to program an audio device

The tv is programmed and works fine.....still no selection for audio.

you have the peanut remote right? try pressing mute + select, 9-8-1, then try again.

He probably manually programmed the tv, select program tv, when its done the next option will be audio device
