New lineup November 3rd

On November 3rd SiriusXM will be changing the lineup. Not sure why they are breaking up the decades channels and changing the names... but they are.

The Pulse Ch. 5 (formerly 15)
The Coffee House Ch. 6 (formerly 14)
Siriusly Sinatra Ch. 70 (formerly 71)
40s Junction Ch. 71 (formerly 73)
50s Gold Ch. 72 (formerly 50s on 5)
60s Gold Ch. 73 (formerly 60s on 6)
On Broadway Ch. 77 (formerly 72)
Kidz Bop Ch. 79 (formerly 77)
SiriusXM Love Now a streaming-only channel

I am in my 70s, pushing 80 and I'm still kickin'! Besides some young folks enjoy the early roots of rock and roll.

50's on 5 and 60's on 6 are two of our 24 year old granddaughter's favorite channels.

Leaving aside discussions of old age, random shuffling and minor re-naming of channels seems to accomplish little but to confuse customers, obsolete printed materials, and cause work for CSRs dealing with confused customers.

1940s and Swing Channel music are boss.

I still think it's stupid to call the '60's on 6' on channel 73? Just who with a 4th grade education thought that was a good idea or a catchy phrase? Maybe the people from C/S who you can't understand???

Maybe the guy that renamed it to "60's Gold" had a 5th grade education...

It will automatically map to the new location

I hope so, it will take some time to remap all my wife's presets. She is of that generation!

I think it's a reasonable assumption that channels not listed in the change notice are not changing...
