new local list

where can i find a list of locals and when they are becoming available.
D* told me october for mine, and i just wanna keep an eye open

the E* section has the new uplink area, is there one here?

DIRECTV: HD Locals

as for uplink, Directv uses their own setup (DSS) whereas Dish uses DVB (same as free to air) so anyone with a PC Card and the right software can see the changes Dish makes. Directv its harder and they can only see the national channel changes (not locals).

I feel your pain. Mine got pushed back to November as well.
It stared out as November and then moved forward to October, but now they are back to November.

Monterey/Salinas/Santa Cruz -- not listed anywhere in DirecTV's future, and Dish has had HD Locals there for years

Monterey/Salinas/Santa Cruz -- not listed anywhere in DirecTV's future, and Dish has had HD Locals there for years

I live in Redding and I would agree with you. I would have thought you would have already had them!
