Yeah I could have done that but had a gift card to use from Amazon.

You still could have used that. There's a download option where they'd give you a key to enter into Origin which would initiate the download. Not that it matters now in this case but just for future reference.

Yeah I think we all knew that they could it's just the option they choose to do things which any company could do. Overall I think they should do a offline mode for single player and online for only Multi which is something they could always add in a later on with a patch.

Ok well built my first city but after rushing getting things up fast I realized I should have zone things differently and place some of my utilities in different areas. I started a private region so the question is can I remove the city I started and start a new one without having to keep my first city?

Not surprised you should always be allowed to play offline it's just depends on them if they want to try to send it out that way.

Mac version coming June 11. Also, apparently if you buy the Mac version you get the PC version for free, and vice versa.

They recently re-added Cheetah speed, it's almost strange to see the game going so fast.

Early on in our region a friend had a monster appear and eat all his garbage. Well it took out his school and he didn't realize a cities education level is what prevents nuclear meltdowns.

2 nuclear meltdowns later 80% of his map is covered in radiation and we abandon the region since we weren't that invested in it, lol.
