New software

Ever since there was a new download, every once in a while, my receiver goes off and on again. It may be totally unrelated, but I was wondering if anyone is havering the same issue?

Not me. Have you tried resetting the receiver? That sometimes fixes strange behavior.

Came home a little while ago turned mine one big blue screen saying software update and after it finished i have no signal, acts like I have no dish or connection..

Do a Red Button Reset if not.

usually after a software update a red button reboot should be done...cleans out the gremlins

Sorry I didn't answer sooner, but yes it did come back about an hour later and works correctly.
