We are moving into a new home next week and will be up-grading to the hopper system from the old 622. There are only two of us, so what we need is one hopper and two joeys. Am I right in believing that I can get a hopper for the living room, a Joey for the bedroom, and a wireless Joey that I can move back and forth between the garage and a second bedroom? If so, is moving the wireless Joey simply a matter of plug and play at both locations? This is in a 1900 sq. ft. One level home. Thanks.

You should be able to move the Wireless Joey around just fine. It's just a matter of connecting the HDMI or audio/video cables to the TV and plugging the power in. Here is the main concern though, you need to be within range of the Wireless Access Point. There is no exact range for the Wireless Joey so you won't know if it can work out in the garage until you try it.

You can check access point range with hopper remote using attached instructions.

What is a WAP? What is a WJAP? What is a HIC? Too much jargon.

I'm assuming WJAP is Wireless Joey Access Point which is the same thing as Wireless Access Point (WAP)
The HIC is a Hopper Internet Connector. This allows you to connect internet to the system when the router is not by the Hopper.
