Newbie Help 811/OTA

I am new to Dish as of yesterday and have a simple OTA question:

I have an HD antenna and I used to get locals in HD with my Voom Receiver, what do I need to do to get the local HD with my 811? Do I need to run a separate coax into the receiver from the antenna?

Do I have to configure anything on the receiver and where will the channels show up?

Just use a standard splitter. Disconnect the antenna cable from the back of the Voom receiver. Connect it to the input of a two-way splitter. Connect the outputs of the splitter to the Voom and 811 receivers.

You may lose some signal, however. As such, you may need to add a signal amp, or you can use a two-way VHF/UHF distribution amp instead of a splitter and amp.
