Hey guys I'm getting DTV(switching from cable) on tues and I have a couple questions.....
first my house has a central cable box outside that feeds all the rooms in my house,my question is... will the installer be able to use that main box to feed all the rooms in the house BUT Can i also keep my cable modem(without drilling holes everywhere?)I will be canceling cable tv but would like to keep my isp.
Thanks for your time.

This should not be a problem especially if you plan on not having a receiver in the same room as the computer. Even if you do it is still possible they just have to diplex the cable and satellite feeds together.

Thanks for the reply.....I do plan on having the 2 in one room
plus DTV in 3 other rooms.....If they (diplex?)will i loser quality especially on HD and my isp speeds?
Thanks again.

diplexing is when they conbin the two lines into one and this should not cause any quality problems
