Newbie needs help with a 322 dual

I just moved and the new place have a sat already set up so I hook my 322 up and it does the 5 step thing and downloads the epg (so I must be getting signal right?) but when I try to watch any channel I get a message that says complete signal loss. The lnb is different then the one I had its wide with 2 coax ports (one on each side of the lnb) and only one side is connected and it gos right to the separator on the back of my box do I need a sw-21 or is there something else I'm missing any help will be very much appreciated

you need a DPP twin. Run Ck switch and you should be good to go.

Your description sounds like a twin so you would need two lines from the dish to the receiver. You won't be able to use the separater.

A check switch can be run in menu-6-1-1-check switch-test. Once it completes, let us know what is listed in the "switch" line
