I've got a Legacy II receiver and I'm connected to a HugheNet dish (mine) using only the receive LNB. My goal is to receive the Gospel Broadcasting Network on AMC-6 (KU-band).

The receiver is showing a good signal (about 90), but all I see is snow/static.

I'm pretty sure I'm on the right bird.

Any suggestions?

what kind of rec is that? If its an fta rec, try blind scanning the satellite you think you're on.
Signal doesn't mean much except you have power, you have to find signal and quality. Check to see if GBN's transponder info is in your receiver's TP list already, and try tuning while watching the meter when you have that TP selected. I think its 12144V....check the List, top of page here.

edit: you'll also need to have the dish 'skewed' properly for that satellite to ever find it.dishpointer.com will give coordinates for your loc

sounds like you have an analog receiver since you mention snow/static

you need a digital DVB receiver to receive that channel
